It amazes me how people can be so judgemental sometimes, and then suddenly find themselves on the receiving end of their own foot into their own mouth so quickly. Nothing brings that point home more than holidays like yesterday. When I say I did nothing for Mothers Day, people got this look of disapproval, at which point I felt obligated to explain why, even though I knew it'd suck to be in their shoes at that point. Now, while there's a vicarious thrill in showing someone the errors of their ways by boldly going forward with their worldview when they don't have all the facts, it's still something that I hate doing in this case. Now, if you're one of the few who doesn't know wtf I'm talking about here, just ask me. It's just not something I feel like having hang around on my homepage for another year until this post gets pushed off the bottom.
